DETAILS ABOUT LIONFISH:
Lurking in the ocean wreaking havoc are ocean murder hedgehogs, AKA lionfish, who are pretty much indestructible. These guys are slow moving and constantly having babies…so like big slow pregnant killers! With venom!
This week on Sarah Sums It Up I literally dive into the ocean with lionfish to talk about these little invasive species, how they became such a problem, and how we can all do our part to control their spread (HINT: It involves harpooning them). I may or may not have personal experience in helping with population control and may or may not have photographic evidence in the episode. So, watch to see for yourself!
