Who makes up the Royal Family & the line of succession? It all starts with Queen Elizabeth as she is the reigning monarch & the longest reigning British monarch in history. She has reigned 69 years & counting. Her & her husband, Prince Phillip had 4 children – Charles, Anne, Andrew & Edward.

Interesting Fact: Under the Perth Agreement, which came into effect in 2015, only the first six in line of succession require the sovereign’s consent before they marry; without such consent, they and their children would be disqualified from succession.
